Terms of use
The agreement, in plain language.
Using Untimer means agreeing to these terms. They are short because there is not much to agree to.
What Untimer is
Untimer is a focus timer and a record of your sessions, provided as a website at untimer.com and a web application at app.untimer.com, and later as an Android application. It is made and operated by Kristaq Kola, a sole trader registered in Albania.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. One person, one account; please do not share one. You must be sixteen or older.
What you may do
Use Untimer to time and record your own work, on as many of your own devices as you like. Download everything you recorded whenever you like. Delete your account whenever you like.
What you may not do
Use Untimer in a way that interferes with other people's use of it, try to access records that belong to someone else, probe or overload the service, or use automated means to create accounts or sessions in bulk.
Your records are yours
Everything you record in Untimer belongs to you. Untimer claims no rights over your tasks, your notes or your history, and uses them only to show them back to you. The export in Settings exists so that you are never locked in.
What is not promised
Untimer is provided as it is. It is built carefully, but it is made by one person and it may have faults, be unavailable, or change. Untimer is a timer. It makes no claim to diagnose, treat, manage or improve any condition.
To the extent the law allows, Untimer is not liable for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it. Where the law does not allow that limitation, liability is limited to the greatest extent it does allow.
Cost
You can register for free and use the timer, and your days are kept for free. Free also includes how often you come back, and every milestone you reach stays yours whether or not you have Plus. Untimer Plus costs $1.99 a month or $19 a year and adds the rest of Insights and the whole milestone ladder. You can download everything you recorded at any time, whether or not you have Plus.
Paying, cancelling and refunds
Plus is sold by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record: they take the payment on their own page, handle the tax that applies where you live, and issue the receipt. Their terms apply to the payment itself, and Untimer never sees your card number.
Plus renews at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings, and Plus then runs to the end of the period you paid for. If you want a refund within fourteen days of a charge, write to hello@untimer.com and it will be refunded, no questions asked. Nothing you recorded is behind Plus, so cancelling changes what the app shows you and never what it keeps for you.
Ending things
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account. Untimer can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why. If Untimer were ever to shut down, it would be announced on this site first, with time to export everything.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Albania, where the operator of Untimer is established, and any dispute that cannot be settled by talking is subject to the courts there. Your own country's consumer law still applies where it cannot be waived.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them and material changes are said plainly here. Continuing to use Untimer after a change means accepting it.
